Chongqing Cummins is a Sino-American joint venture established in 1995. It is the starting point for Cummins' localized production in China and the first engine joint venture in the country. It is also a key subsidiary of its Chinese parent company, Chongqing Machinery and Electric Co., Ltd.. Located in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, Chongqing Cummins covers an area of 400 acres. Built according to Cummins' global advanced standards, it is equipped with industry-leading equipment and software, housing an innovation technology center, intelligent manufacturing system, and efficient logistics system. Chongqing Cummins specializes in the production of diesel and natural gas engines, with a power range from 185 to 3,650 horsepower.
